I would like to have a forum dedicated to history; I really enjoy history… the Romans, Greek’s, The Middle Ages, the Mid-evil Ages, all of them I like to know about history one good part about it is that we learn mistakes others made this way we wont make them again  I say if we make a forum dedicated to history that if you post in it you tell about a time or a section group. If we make a forum I will go ahead and give a detailed post about how to post and all that.

I get all of my roman history and made up shit from Lord of the Rings. All of my awsome battles are in those movies. Not only that, there is Kingdom of Heaven, Alexander, Troy, and many more. Roman history was interesting nontheless, and learning about the mythical Gods and shit like that was pretty interesting. Although most of it seems farfetched, it still adds some interesting points. Of course, I think all of the Greek Gods are bullshit, but then again, there are many that would agree with me on that. It's like one big story though, and interesting nonetheless. I'd give a chance to go back in time to those days with the Romans and Greeks fighting, I think watching a war between them would have been interesting. Btw, if you want to see a real good war movie about that comming out soon, go see 300. If you liked the way that Sin City was directed, expect the same massive and gorey mahem to be in this movie. I seen some previews for it and it looked like it was going to kick ass. Do you have any good books on Greek and Roman history Kalibur? |

I have TONS of books on warfare-from the greeks to Vietnam, but my favorite history subject is The Great Patriotic War of 1942 (the russians in WW2). | ||

Yea those were great movies that were based in historical times, but not all of the stuff in the movies is true or real movie leave out a lot of stuff or sometimes just make up shit. hey, kali, i was jking. but yeah, i think that all of the forums we've had except for the main ones have gone down the drain because people just aren't that intrested in the stuff anymore. i just think this forum is going to be like the other ones, its like a trend, everyone loves it for a month, then no one cares. it's a good idea, though, i like history. | ||
