Unintelligent gamers come up with unintelligent responses. The games that came out were just launch games. None of them are perfect. You aren't going to find alot of games that are good on the launch date. But where I prove you wrong is that the Wii is going to launch some of the best games to date. For instance, Wii sports got tons of positive feedback on almost everything that I've watched (On G4). Even the fanboys at Gamespot said that Wii sports was awsome. Yes, some of the stuff did not work as you wanted it to, but that's because publishers need a little more time to get used to developing games for the consoles. I'm sure that there is yet to come. I'm pretty sure that the Wii is going to win the console war, because it appeals to many people. It's not just to Nintendo fanboys, either. Do some research before you go assuming which console is going to win or not. You assume because of a series of launch game, that the console is automatically going to fail? Wrong. We will see how well it is going to do once some more games are published. Then I will pin it right on the nose for you: Wii is going to rule all. The end. |

i do research constantly...the only reason the Wii is really selling a lot is because.. A. There are a TON of Nintendo/Mario fans B.The Legend of Zelda Fans C. the Wii mote is just cool. and finally D. the PS3 is low on stock..and the 360 is being clouded by these new launches. but besides that...the Wii is supposed to have no new hardware cept some updated graphics with the old gamecube hardware..i don't know if this is true..but i know that the 360 and ps3 are very superior if it is. and as launch titles go....   |

You forgot about Wii sports. I know someone that got a Wii and played Wii sports and said it was amazing. And who cares about graphics when your having so much fun? Like I said earlier, you can have a visually masterminding game but it can be the most shittiest game that a Developer ever wasted his time on. It's not all about the graphics. Besides, the graphics are comfortable enough. The X 360 had horrible games that came out on launch as well. Call of Duty 3 wasn't that great according to most game magazines. Perfect Dark Zero was horrible, and there was Dead or Alive, but that's just a perverts dream. To see shiny glossy video game chicks play volleyball. Fun! NBA Live? Not well liked. King Kong, ooooh a movie based video game. Awsome. I'd have to say the only good games were the racing games, Project Gotham and Need for Speed. The other racing game was awful. Yeah, lets just say that not all consoles have very great launch titles. And those don't show what a console is all about anyways. So the point you are trying to make is shallow. And, you proved another one of my points. There are more Nintendo fans than there are anything else. They don't really get dissapointed (The Gamecube was a dissapointment, but it did have a few exceptionally great titles, like Metroid Prime, Super Mario Sunshine, ect.) You just got to give a console some time, and you will see that this console is going to rule the world! Wii prevails! |

ok ok ok..call of duty 3 just came out so i guess you mean 2..call of duty 2 is fun as shit and what magazines are you reading because a lot of websites and magazines were saying it kicked as..and its still selling so it obviously kicks ass.. and i'm not basing anything i type on gfxs i never said that did i? no so stop bringing up graphics when i talk about 360. and from many many reviews Wii Sports was only good for learning the wii mote movements..the game sucked..and you have one friends opinion. perfect dark was cool but not great.. nba live i know it sucked..its sucked on everything i believe.. dead or alive wasn't the volleyball one ..and it was good..King Kong was an awesome game...PGR3 was sick...NFS sucked..and is still sucking...it started sucking after NFS 3 or Hot Pursuit 1 IMO..and yea there are a lot of Nintendo fans but there are a ton of PS and Xbox fans..PS because of great games like FF(i don't like it though), MGS, and Devil May Cry. and Xbox..Halo Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon..yea theres another kick ass launch game..GRAW..that game is definitely one of the best games in the Next gen fight. and another game would be Gears of War..which is like the best game out as of now. in conclusion i never said i didn't like the Wii i just said as of now it prolly wont do so hot..not until like Super Mario Galaxy or Metriod Prime 3 comes out. so..i don't know what the outcome will be but i highly doubt the Wii will win PS when i said hardware in my last post...i meant everything |

and when Halo 3 and Halo Wars come out..the 360 will even more popular. and your first post stated that the 360 and PS3 have no publishers behind them..that is one of the stupidest and most not thought out statements I've heard. PS3 and 360 all have the same as Wii almost every publisher publishes for the consoles..like Capcom, EA, Activision, Rockstar, Ubisoft, Namco, 2K, Vivendi, Atari, Sega, and THQ for example. and these people don't make the games if that is what you mean..the developers do...so if that is what you mean..get your terms right..and there are a bunch of multi platform ones too. like.. Epic, Gearbox, Blizzard, Acclaim, Ubisoft, Neversoft, NCsoft, D.I.C.E., and Crytek | ||

One, I said that the X 360 stole all of the publishers, and the Sony didn't have alot of publishers making games for them, because they had thought that the sales for the ps3 were going to go bad, which they are. X 360 does have alot of publishers, because they knew that it was going to be the first console to launch. And now that it was, alot of people have them, and publishers are more content because of that reason. I read Game Informer, Gamepro, Gamespot, IGN. Most of them were not satisfied with Call of Duty. But they did like Need for Speed, which I loved, and most others loved. I don't know why you didn't like that game, it had to have been one of the most funnest racing games that I have played in a long time, since Hot Pursuit 2. And as for Perfect Dark...Cool? That game was the most horrible game that had ever launched for the X360 and I'm pretty sure that it still is. Shallow gameplay, repetitive, and clunky controls. That is what the complaints were from me, and as a frew of the publishers. You like some pretty weird and horrible games. Yes, Gears of War is the only reason that I really want the X 360 for. Looks like an interesting game and visually amazing. But as for your video game ratings, man, wow you like the games that I hate. And yes, the Wii is going to sell well, no matter what anyone else thinks. It has too many fans that it appeals to. Nintendo has been around since the 80s and since then has carried fans from even that era. Microsoft is still a new fan based console that came out more recently, there is no way that it has more popularity then any Nintendo Console. Like I said, we will have to wait a while and see what goes down, before we can assume anything. |
