Ok, so you say you forgot your Windows administrator's password, huh? Oh well, it doesn't really matter if you did or you just say you did. The fact is that you need to gain access to a computer and you cannot "remember" the administrator's password. 1. First, log on to the computer with any type of account. 2. Next, open up the command console.(start->all programs->accessories->command prompt) 3. After that type in "control userpasswords2"  4. When you type that in a window will come up(1) just click the account you want to reset the password on, type it in (2), click ok, and you're done! What if you formatted your computer so the administrator account is the only account? Is there anything you can do to log on, or are you sol? (haven't had that problem yet, but it's just a what if situation) | ||

You can still have a pw but when you logon no one will know unless they try to change it and they can't. |
