Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

I owe most of my imagination to Bill Watterson |

I think it's time I (as well as some of you, if any) appreciate Bill Watterson. He not only wrote the best comics I have ever read, but helped to create a lot of the images and scenarios that attributed to a great childhood imagination. I still read his comics to this day because he combined childhood humor with adult perceptions and politics seen from the mind of a prodigy six year old and his tiger. Every time I read just one comic from Calvin and Hobbes I sigh with a feeling of nostalgia, and the desire to relive my childhood exactly like he did. Here is a tribute to one of my favorite ones by Watterson: Also this made me stoked to be a parent (and I am exactly like this): Edited Tue Sep 04 2012, 08:36PM |

I own every Calvin and Hobbes anthology and consider it a formative part of my childhood. I don't know if any artist has ever been so successful with his media. |

I figured you would be the only one to appreciate this thread. That is why we are brothers from other mothers that like different sports teams, haha. | ||

Just found one of the most epic strips he created, surprised this isn't a meme. |

SPACEMAN SPIFF!!!! Seriously, one of the best comic strips. I fondly remember how excited I was going home from the library with an armload of Calvin and Hobbes as a child. I would take them everywhere I went, people would see me reading on the bus, at school, under the covers. I would doodle on my desk and make elaborate murals like Calvin. This comic led me on so many adventures, I consider this a childhood necessity. Now I know why you guys are my friends. |
