Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

So i just watched the new Batman movie with mike (Therapist) and i feel compelled to discuss this amazing movie with everyone.... What shocked everyone the most, what was your favorite scene, and what movie was better, Batman 2, or the new Batman 3, and anything else anyone can think of. _________________________SPOILER ALERT__________________________________________________ Wha t shocked me the most had to be that Bain was not the escaped prisoner... that fucking blew my mind that it was that evil bitch. My favorite scene had to be between the scene when batman is talking to catwomen and then catwomen disappears while batman is talking to her and hes like, "so thats what it feels like" As for which movie was better between this new one, and the last one that came out.... i am really struggling. I feel as though the villain in number 2 (The Joker) was just sooo well played... like he really comes off as a psycho maniac in the movie. But i feel this movie was better as a whole, and definatley ended more epicly. but i would have to put them at the same level. I wouldnt be able to choose one over the other. Let me know what you guys think. |

I agree with what was said before. However, I couldn't shake the feeling that this movie was rushed (not in the sense that they released it too soon, but the plot didn't spend time developing characters). I wanted to see more on the hardships that Gotham citizens had to face once they plunged into marshal law, not just a flash forward to winter and oh btw bro that police officer is now Robin. I was also upset at how Bain knew all of Batman's armory hideouts, without really ever explaining why. Of course this all would have probably made the movie 5 hours, but maybe this was the movie that would have been worth all 5 hours? Oh. and the Batcopter was totally unbelievable. The CGI was shoddy, so they never showed it for more than a few seconds at a time. The two rotors on the bottom of it were just ridiculous. When he's outrunning the homing missiles, I couldn't help but think "wow, these missiles can't keep up with a helicopter, A they must be the slowest missiles ever, B how do they stay in the air? lol." Again, I feel like a better job could have been done there. |

Again, I feel like a better job could have been done there. Me and you think alike. I will say that i enjoyed Batman 2 much more because i feel the story was soo much better. The acting was excellent (not that the acting in this one was bad), but also because more time was given to the characters. I did really enjoy Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. I always felt she would make a great one simply because she as an actress is so god damn good (if you have seen any of her movies other than disney bullshit). But i feel overall the movie was rushed. It was simply rushed through. That was the first feeling I got. And i knew that women was the escaped prisoner and not Bane simply because of the emphasis on her scar on her back after the sex scene. I dunno... i just didnt get that "wow" factor from this movie. It was still really good and i really enjoyed it, but it was not as good as The Dark Knight. Honestly im struggling to figure which one i liked better...Batman Begins or TDKR. I did like the setup though for Robin. Right at the beginning i called it. I said that cop was going to be Robin and I was right. Now Robin will become the new Batman and get a new Robin. Batman will die and new Robin becomes Batman again and find one more Robin. They will fight and Robin will become Nightwing. lol i can guess. |

I thought it was robin as soon as they introduced him to. I was thinking to myself, theres no way that this movie would spend this much time introducing a random cop to us for no reason. After much thought i think im going to have to decide that i liked The Dark Knight #2 more than this. After reading what most of you said, i have to agree in the sense that #2 felt more like a complete movie. It left no loose ends for us, + i could actually understand everything the villain said. There were some points during the movie where i had no clue what the hell Bain was saying. Sidenote.... the entire movie (till the end) i thought that evil bitch was gonna end up being Poison Ivey, because i always thought Bain was Poison Ivey's servant or whatever. |

Oh and another thing about the movie... In Batman Begins and in The Dark Knight, Gotham City felt like Gotham City. It had that feel to it(more so in Batman Begins but still in The Dark Knight). In TDKR however, it felt like Manhattan. I know the movie was filmed in Manhattan and I know Gotham City in the comics was modeled after Manhattan...but it just had that modern Manhattan feel to it. Maybe it is because i was born and raised in NYC...but like anything skyview i easily notice which bridge it is..i automatically saw the new Freedom Tower that was put up...etc.. The night scenes help make it feel more eerie but the day scenes were just too blah.

Just got back from seeing it, I loved it. I don't like comparing the 3 cause they are all pretty unique. I love the fights scenes sooooooo much, the story was awesome, they couldn't of ended it any better and to be honest these Batman movies have pretty much set the bar for any future re-boots of the series.

Also the first time Bain talked, I kinda laughed, cause his voice was not at all what I was expecting. Still a total badass though: "Brother, they are expecting one of us in the wreckage." |
