Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Boston winning the world series. Patriots shitting on the 'skins by a score of 52-7. Can Boston possibly be more dominating? Too bad they have bad hockey and basketball teams (At the moment, I believe the Celtics will grow strong!). Boston obviously is the dynasty city of this decade, but it's a mystery of what's to come. What about the rest of the NFL? My predictions for the NFL have gone to hell. I predicted the Dolphins to finish second in the division and they're 0-8! What the fuck? And the Jets, 1-7? Hell, I feel like my high school team could beat them. Or the Rams, who's home crowd was filled with brown paper bag heads. I found myself lol'ing. Teams who we thought were going to be good suck ass. Hockey is interesting this year, although it appears as the Senators are going to win uncontested. Just look how dominating they are already? I haven't lost faith in my Penguins yet either, as I think they will make it far but probably lose to the Senators again. A-Rod opts out of a Yankees contract that high? Damn. You'd think someone like him would go right for that money, but it appears that he had some concern for his teammates. That's pretty loyal in my opinion. I had lost respect for A Rod once he left the Mariners wayyy back. And what about Joe Torre? Where is he headed? I wish he'd come to the Pirates, who desperately need someone like him to at least help us start in the right direction. A lot is going on in the world of sports, more than what I'm just talking about. Since Kddude wants us to discuss sports in a thread, and the Round Table has been dead for a while, let's get it back in gear! Discuss. |

The Joe Torre situation made me very sad, being a lifetime Yankees fan. Although the Yankees haven't won a World Series in 8 years, this is in no way Torre's fault. The culprit is the big cheese. The one that decides who comes and goes from our farm system and makes trades. Brian mutha-fuckin Cashman. Ever since 1998, the Yankees have been trying to buy their way to the World Series. Luckily, the man before Cashman set the Yankees up enough to win it in '98 before he left. Cashman really screwed things up now. Torre gone? Now A-Rod. I never cared for A-Rod, in my eyes he was never a true Yankee. But the fact that Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettitte, and Jorge Posada are considering leaving just makes my blood boil. As long as Brian Cashman is around, the Yankees are obsolete. |

Look I live in South Eastern MA and I follow my teams religiously. The Patriots are easily the best team in the NFL. Easily. The Colts will not win this weekend, Indy is getting 5.5. The Pat's have not failed to cover a spread so far this year and they're not about to start now. Brady is on pace to break the following records. Most Single Season TD passes, Highest Single Season QB Rating and Most Single Season Passing Yards. At the rate he's going he's projected to throw 56 TD's. That's 7 more than Peyton's record. As far as being focused? No one focuses on the next opponent like the Pats do. 1 week 1 game 1 win at a time. There is no looking ahead. Look, love them or hate them I don't give a shit but do not, do not bet against them or in anyway doubt their absolute dominance in this league. We'll reapproach this come Sunday. As far as the Sox go... it's amazing isn't it? We're in a good position to even get BETTER next year. I just hope we don't sign Arod, that's all I ask. Bring Lowell back, I know he wants 4 years and he's 34yrs old... but cmon... Arod is a fuckin asshole. Has Boras annouce his not signing with the Yankees during the 5th inning of the World Series final game... fuckin classy. Egotistical prick. |
