wasn't that impressed with the game. i see more potential elsewhere i say they still make playoffs but no superbowl |

Brady mentoring Cassell, and the fact that he is probably only going to get better every week makes me think they can contend for the Super Bowl. Not to mention, a lot of people think our Defense has lost a step, but they looked pretty solid to only hold Brett Farve to one TD. Also with the Colts struggling like they are, and I don't foresee the Chargers really doing well this season, there is still a good chance that the "Brady-less" Patriots will make the Super Bowl. I'll say they go 12-4 and make it to the AFC game though. |

Just remember this: The Jets are bad. They barely managed to beat the Dolphins, and then the Pats barely managed to beat them. You aren't dealing with a good team, so beating the Jets is nothing to be happy about. You're 2-0, but you've played the Chiefs and Jets. And now you're going to play the Dolphins. I'm not impressed. | ||

19-10 isn't barely beating a team, that's a pretty decent win. And you'd be surprised, the jets aren't all that bad this year, they'll play over .500 ball this season. I bet KC will be right around .500 too. It's not our fault the NFL gave us one of the easiest schedules in NFL history, is it? |

Pats still have a harder season than the Giants, Cowboys, or Green Bay. I mean, those are the only 3 real teams in the NFC to begin with, so... | ||

Just remember Moss has only had 8 receptions for 138 yds and a TD. Welker has only had 13 receptions for 123 yds and 0 TDs. In other words Cassel is only going to get better as he gets into a rythm with these guys. Every week he's going to get better, we have a bye next week, he basically is having his own mini preseason here, with the chiefs, jets & fagphins. Except these games count. I'm not "impressed" by what I've seen so far, but a win is a win. And two wins is two wins. THere's no extra points awarded for "impressive" wins. I mean the rest of the league still needs to shake out. Look at Indy, comeback win against Min but a loss to TB... neither of those teams are particularly great. TB gets blown out by NO in week one, NO LOSES to WAS in week 2!! I know Indy could wreck both NO & WAS... so... The teams you gotta watch out for this year are obviously the biggies, DAL, PIT, NE but at the same time you got some real competition in GB, CAR & DEN. Well we'll see what happens tomorrow.
