hey, some of you kno but for those of you who dont i am now a member of the US army. i am a MP (military police). i will be leaving on june the 7th of 2007 for basic training in Missouri. i think itd be kool if all FT or FT regulars that are in or are thinking about joining the army could post on this thread and tell what they are and what they do in the military so that us other military members can all talk and shit. (just think itd be kool) thnx guys Twitch |

well it was nice knwing you twitch. i guess we have to team up as much as possible on cs before you get shipped to iraq. ive thought about the military after high school, but i quickly dropped that idea after we invaded iraq. *salutes* |

screw iraq im holding out until a real war; thats when ill get in the army. as soon as world war 3 starts im in, but there's no way im gonna sit in a hot tank for 2 years and do nothing. even better, ill wait until they come out with that nano armor with the robotic muscles that bulge out the arms so i can take 5 bullets and be like, "whoa, better regenerate". Then I'll go punch some buildings until they fall down. yeah... thats when ill join the army |

I want to fight in the war. I dont like the idea of it at all, but I want to die a hero. I dont think that I have much of a future, so why not die saving someone? I plan on either joining the army as a sniper, or to rank myself up into the Special Oposition Forces. Im extremely stealthy in real life (You cant even hear my footsteps when I walk), I know alot of tactics because everyone above me in my family has served in the military, and its just something I want to make myself useful doing. I live in PA Twitch so I might end up somewhere along the lines with you. | ||

Amish i hope ure not being serious when u say the Iraq war isnt a real war. Im not one to advocate war, but i have had a family history of war heroes. My brother who recently last april came home because of a shoulder injury which has taken 2 surgerys and possibly 3 to correct. Hes server for a little over 20 years, he enlisted into the army right when he got out of hs along with my others brothers who tried going to college but dropped out to joined the navy. He sooned learned that war was not pretty it isnt a beautiful canvas that teh recruiters paint for u. When ure driving an truck transporting ammo, chemicals, explosives, and dead bodys. It gives u a reality check on war. Then when he went back over to the modern iraq war he was doing an even more dangerous job driving a humvee on the front lines. I worried everyday wether he was going to get shot, blown up, held hostage, just terrible things. Sure MP may seem to be a safe job but picture this an unidentified car driving 80mph towards ure post and is carrying tons of c4 in the back of his trunk then he desperatly tries to ram the gates and kill as many soldiers as he can. I know this may seem to be a pile of negativaty but i just dont want to see one of my friends like u twitch end up dead fighting for a lost cause, except a boost in stock for our countrys big whigs a boost in moral for our pres daddy's lil boy george bush. But god bless and i hope when ure over there ull never have to deal with the harshness of war | ||

Nightrider i like your thinking, I dont wont to die while im sleeping or aids or cancer .... i wish that i would give my life for some one i love or for a cause that i jugde honorable to my values. so maybe youll see me fighting in the army next to you guys or maybe againt

well twitch, good for you for joining up. I'm an airforce man of 3 generations. Like I said, I'm holding out for a REAL WAR until I join up and nothing graffiti stated sways me any other way. | ||
