Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Please, if you are not going to respond maturely, don't post at all. I am not posting this to invoke a heated debate, just a mild discussion without people getting too fired up with their differing opinions. I ask you to respect those opinions. If you have not heard about this, you can check these obviously sick and twisted excuses for human lifeforms (I cannot fully express my feelings towards this in words) here. I know that the video of "3 Guys 1 Hammer" has been posted before, but I want to discuss it openly. Though they were both (Viktor Sayenko and Igor Suprunyuck) sentenced to life in prison; it will never suffice the 21 brutal murders and especially the infamous leaked video which will scar the family of that victim forever. I know this kind of stuff definitely happens from time to time, but this is the main example and I'm addressing this specifically; mostly due to its, for a lack of a better word, popularity. So at my school I have seen an increased viewing of/people talking about, what I believe, is the most disturbing video leaked onto the internet (besides possibly snuff porn videos). What pisses me off the most is that even friends of mine were talking and making jokes about this video (e.g. - "And his eyeball was all like *BLAEYKAESHHH* too"). The same thing went for the Holocaust presentation done at my school; people making jokes about Jews when just 30 minutes ago they heard (one of many explicit examples) a description of the Jewish women who were raped/beaten over and over again until they lost the will to retaliate, and then shot in the back of the head in concentration camps. Leave it to the average immature High School dumb-ass to laugh off everything he can. What's worse is there are Youtube Reaction Videos all over, as if this was similar to "2 Girls 1 Cup" or "Pain Olympics." A comment on one of the videos sums up my opinion on these videos; "What the hell is the world coming to where now people publicize stuff with videos like that on the internet and people wont remove it at that instant. Time can only tell what the world will become..." I expanded a bit more on this as well. What I want to know is what do you guys think about the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs, how people react to these horrible events (small and large), these kinds of murder videos in general, and the popularity surrounding it through viewers in our community. In my opinion this couldn't sicken me more, not just the actual videos, but people's blatant disrespect towards the victims (and their families) of these murders. This is not a school project of mine, I honestly just want to discuss this and look at other people's views. Also, please do not bring in the "this stuff happened in the past, who cares" bullshit, as it happens a lot when I've tried talking to peers at my school about this. Edited Fri Dec 18 2009, 02:21AM |

I feel the same way I feel about the people who liked bum fights. They are sick sick humans with no compassion, and I hope karma has something in store for the people who make these videos and partake in the acts. (if not arrested, like the makers of Bum fights) |

Rusty wrote ... Yeah I agree that the Bumfight series was taken much too far and extremely demotes homeless people to an all-time low. I feel the same way I feel about the people who liked bum fights. They are sick sick humans with no compassion, and I hope karma has something in store for the people who make these videos and partake in the acts. (if not arrested, like the makers of Bum fights) People are just too comfortable in their little safe "propaganda bubbles;" they always think that "this would never happen here or to me," and assume the wrong information and eventually develop strong stereotypes. For example; my dad just got back from a vacation in Pakistan (Ceilcote specifically) to visit his family. My grandma (on my mother's side) was always concerned for his "safety," as if bombs were exploding everywhere, and Pakistani people lived in huts or something without running water. If she realized that 99% of any terrorist activity going on in Pakistan was at the border, or that Ceilcote is a major and urban city not much unlike our cities in America, she would have less assumptions. It's fun to laugh at stereotypes such as people joking with me that "I'm going to blow up if you mess with me" or something else; but it's another thing to have people taking such things seriously and being racist/biased/etc. The media manipulates every source of information to their will to (for a lack of a better word) brainwash us; I cannot remember a single news channel which tries its best to be unbiased. People watch the most biased of news channels; like Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, etc. Even the news online is published by these companies. I am not some sort of hippy who believes in government conspiracy or something, but this is all very true. Edited Fri Dec 18 2009, 03:36AM |

I just can't believe there are people out there that would throw dogs of bridges or cliffs, or stomp with high heals on kittens or other animals heads. It really just boggles my mind. I get extremely angry every time i run into one of those vids. If you really want to know what im talking about i could link them to you. But it is nothing worth seeing. |

I love bum fights. I've watched 3 of them with popcorn and friends who also enjoy watching disgusting things. Shit goes on in the world. Just because you close your eyes doesn't mean it stops happening. It's actually as beautiful as a baby being born. |

once a life is snuffed out it doesn't matter what happened to it while it existed. it either gets cataloged or it doesn't, but the actual moments it experienced (i.e. getting hit in the face with a hammer) never happened. Faith-view: everything happens for a reason so either way, shitty stuff that happens to people is okay in my book. and glasford, you should dl an actual bumfights movie man. I suggest bumfights 4: the return of the ruckus. It is class-A stuff. The reason some people don't care about first person experiences is because they care about this shit. It's called cognition. You use up all your brain's recording tape on urban dictionary words and family guy quotes and stories of 50 other people's lives a day, then you start thinking of your own life as just another dot in the matrix. To anybody that gets caught up in internet, worry about your own fucking life. That's the best advice you'll hear in this age. /thread |

Well, there goes the Free Market, there goes capitalism, there goes religion, there goes politics, there goes sanity. Here comes chaos... edit: To go ff on you a little, not bashing you, but that is a very naive statement. So, let's not care about the maldives or fiji, and the 100+ million people who are going to be stranded homeless and as refugees due to rising sea levels? Good by to parts of northern mexico because our damning and use of the colorado river has completely shut off their main source of fresh water? There are so many things in this world to worry about, that if you only worried about your own life, you'd be part of the problem, and that is someone who I'd consider is breathing my air and drinking my water.
