Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Amped wrote ... Money isn't everything, but knowledge is. And with the exception of sports, knowledge seems to translate into money. So that's fine with me. I would have to disagree with you there. But when i say that it is relative to what your definition of knowledge is. I'm assuming that you are going by what seems to be the modern definition of knowledge as things you know that are taught to you as far as facts and theory. Things that can be looked up for the most part. Under this modern interpretation of knowledge that I see people use. I think we fail to take into account 2 much more important factors of intelligence than just knowing something. Those 2 being understanding and reasoning. I think that in modern times the perception (conscious or unconscious) of intelligence can be broken down into 3 major categories Knowledge (what you know), Reason (logic and the ability to work things out), and Understanding (Actually understanding the reasons and concepts for what you know). In my opinion knowledge is the least important of the 3. I give as an example the people who "know" that killing is wrong but do it anyway and then finally seem to understand why it is wrong. Such as kids who shoot up schools and some of them you can tell wouldn't do it again because they now understand, where before they just "knew" it was wrong because they were told. So while I am assuming that you are using the term knowledge in the same way i believe most people use it then I would have to disagree with you. I would say that understanding things is more important. Also the ability to work things out and reason so that you can adapt to situations makes you more money in the long run than just knowing what you should do theoretically in a situation. I typed this pretty fast as I am about to get back to some homework so I hope this made sense and I didn't leave anything out. |

I typed this pretty fast as I am about to get back to some homework so I hope this made sense and I didn't leave anything out. Knowledge meaning education, education encompassing your three components. I don't believe one can have knowledge(going by your definition) without both an understanding and reasoning of the topic. So, while you're quite right in your interpretation of "knowledge" (perhaps my diction was imperfect when I used that word), don't forget that someone with the ability to reason and understand a concept will not fair too well in today's world. That's what school is for: To bring us up to speed, catch us up to the point that the minds before us have brought us. Without that knowledge, I'd have to re-invent the wheel. |
