Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Graduate college in May with my Computer and Network Security degree. Plan to move into the IT field. Only taking two classes this semester to finish up and they are both online so I am currently hanging the fuck out in South Padre

Yeah Twitch I thought about the Army PA program. I think you gotta complete 60 credits of sciences and core requisites then sit for your MCAT to be eligible but I stopped reading at the 8 year service obligation so I can't be sure. PA programs in general just don't seem like my cup of tea. I like research so I'd rather go the route of Masters of MLS then PhD in pharmacy. Would your re-class to combat medic make you eligible to opt into the PA program or is it more of a certification kind of thing? Amish idk who you're preaching to but I'm fairly certain they couldn't spare a fuck for you. |

yeah, getting trained for an MOS that has no validity or application in the real world is super smart. If you went into the army to be a paramedic you could've saved a few years by idk............. going to school to be a paramedic? I understand the military is some chest beating bullshit or something but seriously, you picked the worst MOS. Hospitals hate combat medics. Thinking about it you're probably in it for the confidence and character building aspects of the military life, ay? Well chap go for it, and best of luck. Enjoy all those experiences, leaving the military once you blow out your knee, and starting off at 28 where everyone else did at 20, but you'll probably cruise past everyone else at lightspeed, right? btw, dat VA healthcare Edited Wed Feb 29 2012, 06:05AM |

Not about beating my chest. I'm getting paid to get my National Registry as a paramedic. The exact same thing as the civilian side. As for the PA program, the military created it. Which means it's a win win for me. Getting paid to become a PA with the same certification as the civilian sector. Which costs alot of money. As for you flaming my thread, I don't take kindly to a liberal cocksucker who is probably on fucking welfare or unemployment. Take your homosexual tendencies elsewhere. |

Like I said, thats an EMT-b. That certification costs about $1000. It could get you a job as a cop or fireman after service, but you won't get hired by anyone medical without 2 more years of college. I was going to be a 68w. I didn't do it because I thought it was fucking stupid and they wouldn't put me in intelligence cuz i smoked too much weed. Edited Thu Mar 01 2012, 07:06PM |

Touche. The 68W couse is pretty slow paced. And i completely agree with you that it will do NOTHING for me civilian side. EMT-B does nothing but drive an ambulance. But you have to remember Im just a reservist. I already have a career that I love. Being a corrections officer is awesome and pays very well in the state of Pennsylvania. Again I agree, the 68W course will not do anything for me, but getting my flight certification and paramedic certification through the army I can always work as a flight paramedic for a hospital which isnt to bad. |

Wow this place is dead... guess the servers are all down. I was working as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch but hated that. Thinking of going back to college for my masters in accounting with a focus on auditing/forensic accounting. Then sit for the CPA.
