I just got a happy call from the auto shop, and just as expected, my transmission needs to be rebuilt or I need to trash my car. Seeing as how I don't have the money to rebuild said transmission, or buy a new car for that matter, and my parents more than likely don't have enough to loan to me, I'm completely boned. It gets a little more complicated though. I work about 5 minutes from my parent's house, and my house is about 20 minutes away from work. My bank and my grocery store and every other place necessary for me to visit on a regular basis are completely out of walking distance. Hence, my heavy reliability on my car. So, the next logical step is to buy a car or fix the transmission on this one. Both options are too expensive for me to afford, when I'm working to barely scrape my rent and utilities and school. So, the way I think I'm destined to play this out is that I will most likely have to move out of my house (Which I really don't want to do) and live with my parents (yay!). I'll have to buy a shitty car that will never be as awesome as my Buick LeSabre (I'm not joking, I love this car), and in the process I'll lose my spot in the house to another guy and probably piss my friends off for the inconvenience. You probably won't see me much until I figure this all out. I'm really wishing this hadn't happened, especially at the goddamned holidays. Have a safe and happy Christmas guys. |

And bandito, i just had my trans rebuilt.. It just randomly went one day and i threw $2000 into my car for that. However, rebuilding is NOT your only option. You can buy a used transmission from a junkyard or from ebay or something. A used trans will be cheaper than a new one. |

Aren't you in college? If you didn't take our your maximum amount of loans, you can always take out more to get the car fixed or a new car. | ||
