I feel "Leave the Light On" is a remnant of FTC's darker days, when we had so many people leave at once, we needed an entire forum for all the good-byes. Now that members are returning, and new members are showing up in anticipation of CS:GO, the need for a "going away" forum has passed, and only serves as a reminder to darker times. I vote we get rid of it, or at least merge it with Schooling Fish. |

I could potentially see it becoming a subforum of Schooling Fish, but right now subforums are fucked on this site (a lot of them, at least). Leave the Light On is still useful for telling people we'll be gone for a month or in other similar scenarios. No |

I don't think we need anything more than FTC, F7L5, and Schooling Fish and their subforums. Everything else is just extraneous over-organization. |

nO I dunno, I never looked at it as a dark, dismantlement of out older clan but rather a light hearted window into whats really going on in our personal lives The forum is called "leave the light on" not "Shut the light out" because eventually people come back I doubt removing the forum will keep people from leaving and to be honest reading about one's plans for a camping trip over the weekend or a trip to Florida never hurt. |

Well said, sir. Very well said! Not to pile on, but I don't believe the FTCC voting system is applicable to other forums. Hell, I don't even think the voting system can change this forum. These things are generally decided upon by site admins. |
